Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
305 PM CDT Tue Jul 2 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions will prevail tonight. Expect increasing
chances for diurnally driven showers and storms especially in the
southeast portions of the CWA. Low fireWX danger will exist
through the period as moisture will steadily increase into the
area with a southern stream of moisture. Some fog development will
be possible early Wednesday morning, especially in southern
Louisiana and Mississippi.
