Storms affected much of central and eastern Kansas overnight, and
a couple hour prior to sunrise, storms were making their way
across the southeast corner of Kansas. Several of the storms
overnight produced damaging straight-line winds. Early morning
temperatures were generally in the low to mid 70s across the area.

Storms are expected to continue this morning across southeast
Kansas into Missouri. Storms are then expected to redevelop later
this afternoon along a weak cold front from eastern Missouri into
far southeast Kansas and into central Oklahoma. Some severe
storms will be possible with this activity with storms forecast to
continue into the early evening hours.

Highs today will range from the 80s across most of Nebraska to
around 100 over central and western Oklahoma. Look for overnight
lows to range from the upper 50s across western Nebraska to the
middle 70s across eastern Oklahoma.
