Isolated showers and storms exist over portions of northeast
Colorado and southwest Nebraska early this morning. Otherwise most
of the region is seeing quiet weather with temperatures starting
out in the 60s and 70s. Storm chances will begin to increase by
the late morning hours across southern Nebraska and northwest
Kansas and increase across portions of central and southern Kansas
this afternoon and evening. Some storms may be strong to severe
with large hail and damaging wind gusts being the main concerns.
Afternoon highs will generally be in the upper 80s to 90s. Storms
will continue into the nighttime hours across southern and
southeast Kansas as well as into southwest Missouri. Tonight`s
lows will be in the 60s to low 70s.

On Saturday, lingering showers may be possible across southeast
Kansas and southern Missouri during the morning. Otherwise, most
of the region will be dry with afternoon highs in the 90s.
Saturday night will also remain quiet with lows in the 60s and
70s.
