It was sunny and seasonably warm across central and eastern Kansas
this afternoon with late afternoon temperatures from the upper 80s
to the lower 90s.

Surface high pressure will keep eastern sections of mid-America
seasonably warm through Sunday with much hotter Summer heat
further west across the central high Plains. Chances for showers
and thunderstorms will be relatively better across Nebraska with
chances spreading into northern and eastern Kansas and far western
Missouri on Sunday.

Low temperatures tonight will range from the 60s to the mid-70s.
Highs on Sunday will climb into the 80s across Iowa, northern
Missouri, eastern Nebraska and northeast Kansas. Highs will range
from the 90s to 105 degrees across the rest of the heartland with
the hottest readings across far southwest Kansas and western
Oklahoma.
