Showers and storms are ongoing across portions of eastern Kansas
and northwest Missouri early this morning, and this activity
should gradually work eastward throughout the morning hours. Much
of the region will remain dry during the daytime hours with
afternoon highs generally in the 80s and low 90s. However, some
locations across northern Missouri will struggle to get out of the
70s this afternoon. This evening into tonight, scattered showers
and storms are expected to move eastward out of the high plains
and traverse across the central plains during the overnight hours.
Tonight`s lows will be in the 60s and low 70s.

Some activity is forecast to linger across eastern Kansas,
eastern Nebraska, and into portions of Missouri during the morning
hours on Tuesday. Then, rain chances remain primarily across
Missouri during the afternoon hours with highs ranging from the
low 100 across northern Oklahoma to the mid 70s across the
Missouri River Valley. Another round of showers and storms is
expected to progress across much of Nebraska and northern Kansas
Tuesday night with lows in the 60s and 70s across the region.
