This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The best chances for strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon
and evening will be for locations southeast of the Kansas Turnpike.
The strongest storms will be capable of damaging winds up to 70
mph, quarter size hail and locally heavy rainfall.

Heat indices may approach 105 degrees across far southern Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Chances for showers and thunderstorms increase across the region
late Friday through early Monday and possibly into next week.
