...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN TRANSYLVANIA...
SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON...NORTHWESTERN PICKENS AND NORTHEASTERN OCONEE
COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM EDT...

At 126 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles north of Walhalla, or 4 miles west of Devils Fork State Park,
moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Toxaway, Devils Fork State Park, Gorges State Park, Lake
Jocassee, Jocassee Gorges, Sapphire, Bad Creek, Sassafras Mountain,
and Rocky Bottom.
