...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SPARTANBURG...NORTHWESTERN
CHEROKEE AND NORTHWESTERN UNION COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM EDT...

At 418 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles southeast of Columbus to 10 miles
north of Laurens. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Spartanburg, Boiling Springs SC, Woodruff, Pacolet, Cowpens, Mayo,
Roebuck, Chesnee, Pacolet Mills, and Cowpens National Battlefield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
