At 652 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles west of Anderson to 3 miles south of Carnesville. Movement was southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Elberton, Hartwell, Carnesville, Royston, Reed Creek, Lavonia, Gumlog, Iva, Bowman, and Lake Secession.
