Mostly cloudy skies and calm conditions prevailed across the
forecast area overnight as a low-level cloud deck lingered across
eastern Wisconsin. Areas of light to moderate rain were observed
across northern Wisconsin and near the lakeshore. 3 AM
temperatures ranged from the upper 50s in the far north to the
upper 60s in the Fox Valley.

Expect rain and storm chances to linger today before gradually
diminishing late this afternoon and evening. Best chances for
thunder will be this morning. High temperatures are expected to be
cooler than yesterday, ranging from the upper 60s across the
Northwoods to the low 70s from central Wisconsin to the Fox
Valley.

Saturday looks to be drier than the last couple of days, although
some pop-up showers and storms will still be possible. High
temperatures are forecast to rebound slightly from today, ranging
from the mid 70s to 80.
