Mostly clear skies and calm conditions prevailed across the
forecast area overnight as cloud cover remained off to the west.
3 AM temperatures ranged from the mid 50s across the far north to
70 in the Fox Valley.

Showers and thunderstorms will arrive from the west this
afternoon before becoming more widespread into the evening. Some
storms during the afternoon may become strong to severe across
central Wisconsin. Main threats with any stronger storms would be
heavy rain, gusty winds, and small hail. Isolated flooding will be
possible in areas that receive heavy rainfall. High temperatures
are expected to range from the upper 70s in north-central
Wisconsin to the mid 80s in the Fox Valley.

Shower and storm chances will linger into Friday as the surface
low departs to the east. Isolated strong storms and heavy rain
will continue to be possible through Friday evening. High
temperatures are forecast to be slightly cooler than today, with
readings ranging from the low 60s in the far north to 70 in
central Wisconsin.
