The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Yuma County in northeastern Colorado...
  Northwestern Dundy County in southwestern Nebraska...

* Until 845 PM MDT.

* At 804 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles southeast
  of Pleasant Valley, or 21 miles southwest of Imperial, moving south
  at 35 mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Alvin, Colorado and extreme
northeast portions of Yuma county and extreme northwest portions of
Dundy county.

  HAZARD...Three inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
           Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
           siding, and vehicles.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern Yuma and northwestern Dundy Counties, including the
  following locations... Alvin.

This includes Highway 385 near mile marker 254.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to shelter inside a strong building, and stay away from windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
