...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTON AND DECATUR COUNTIES
THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 919 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Oberlin, moving east at 20 mph. Additional
thunderstorms are likely to develop over Norton and Decatur counties.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph, half inch hail and torrential
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Norcatur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall with this storm may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northwestern Kansas.
