...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Arizona, including the following
  county, Yavapai.

* WHEN...Until 630 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is
  imminent or occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 322 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
    Milk Creek, Middlewater Creek, Cedar Creek, Finch Wash,
    Hackberry Creek, Copper Basin Wash, Butte Creek, Little Wolf
    Creek, Mineral Creek, Wolf Creek, Grapevine Creek, Willow
    Creek, Towers Creek, Bannon Creek, Skull Valley Wash,
    Tuscumbia Creek, Williamson Valley Wash, Ash Creek, Big Bug
    Creek, Miller Creek, Turkey Creek, Logan Wash, Board Creek,
    Mint Wash, Lynx Creek, Cooper Wash, Minnehaha Creek, Pine
    Creek, Granite Creek, Arrastra Creek, Iron Springs Wash,
    Dillon Wash, Woolsey Wash, Chaparral Gulch, Kirkland Creek,
    Hassayampa River, Orofino Wash, Spence Creek, Strickland
    Wash, Bear Creek, Blind Indian Creek, Butte Wash, Little
    Chino Valley and Bottleneck Wash.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.

    Prescott, Goldwater Lake, Quartz Mountain, Oak Knoll Village,
    Downtown Prescott, Rancho Vista Estates, Groom Creek, Groom
    Creek Subdivision, Wolf Creek Falls, Thumbe Butte, Wildwood
    Estates, Prescott Gateway Mall, Copper Basin, Lynx Lake,
    Watson Lake, Willow Creek Reservoir, Embry-Riddle
    Aeronautical University, Cayuse Picnic Area, Alto Pit OHV and
    Mt. Union.
  - This includes the following recreation areas and
    campgrounds...
    White Spar Campground, Upper Wolf Creek Group Campground,
    Yavapai Campground, Lower Wolf Creek Campground, Yavapai
    Campground, Lynx Campground, Eagle Ridge Group Campground and
    Hilltop Campground.

    This includes the following swimming holes...
    Wolf Creek Falls.

    This includes the following highways...
    State Route 69 between mile markers 292 and 296.
    State Route 89 between mile markers 296 and 318.
    State Route 89A near mile marker 318.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
