...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...North Dakota...

  Red Lake River at Crookston affecting Polk County.

  Red River of the North at Fargo affecting Cass and Clay Counties.

For the Red River...including Wahpeton, Hickson, Fargo, Halstad,
East Grand Forks, Oslo, Drayton, Pembina...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Red Lake River...including Highlanding near Goodridge,
Crookston...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message - Turn around, don`t drown. Don`t travel through
flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO EARLY SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Red Lake River at Crookston.

* WHEN...From this evening to early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Public Works begins 24 hour monitoring of
  pumps, gates, and valves.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 16.2 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Red River of the North at Fargo.

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Low-level dam south of Main Ave is closed
  (Fargo).

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 18.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 19.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to 16.4 feet Monday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
