At 108 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Hillsboro, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Arrey, Caballo, Hillsboro, Ladder Ranch, Lower Animas Creek, Upper Palomas Canyon, Lower Palomas Canyon, and Caballo Lake. This includes Interstate 25 in New Mexico between mile markers 55 and 66.
