At 648 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Blue Grass, or near Davenport, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Davenport, Rock Island and Credit Island. This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 267 and 291. Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 12. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northwestern Illinois...and southeastern and east central Iowa. Remain alert for a possible tornado!
