...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River near Conesville affecting Muscatine and Louisa
  Counties.

.Heavy rain forecasted in the next 24 hours is likely to lead to a
second crest near the levels of the recent crests.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued by Wednesday morning at 1130 AM
CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and expected to continue.

* WHERE...Cedar River near Conesville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.5 feet, Water affects residences along Iowa
  Highway 22. Water affects Hoot Owl Jct and Elder Avenue south of
  Iowa Highway 22.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall to 13.4 feet early Thursday
    afternoon. It will then rise to 13.9 feet Saturday evening.
    It will fall to 13.7 feet early Monday morning then rise
    again.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
