...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Maquoketa River at Manchester Hwy 20 affecting Delaware and Jones
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The next statement will be issued by Wednesday evening at 845 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON TO EARLY
THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Maquoketa River at Manchester Hwy 20.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Water affects West Main Street. Water also
  affects residences on the south side of town.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 5.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow
    afternoon to 14.2 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall
    below flood stage tomorrow evening to 7.0 feet early Friday
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
