This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for much of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Thunderstorms are possible area wide today, and then mainly north
and east later tonight. Some of the storms may be strong to severe
north from midday through the evening with large hail, damaging
wind, locally heavy rains, and a few tornadoes all possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

There will be additional chances for thunderstorms central and
north Friday, and then off and on area wide Saturday afternoon
through Monday. The severe weather potential appears low at this
time.

Other spotty chances for storms are in the forecast Tuesday
and Wednesday. The severe weather potential for the middle of next
week will be better evaluated in the coming days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed at times from midday into the evening
today, especially north.
