  Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg affecting Pocahontas and
  Palo Alto Counties.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville affecting Emmet County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY, JULY 11...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Des Moines River at Fort Dodge, or from the municipal
  power dam to Lehigh.

* WHEN...Until Thursday, July 11.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water affects campgrounds in the
  downstream parks between Fort Dodge and Lehigh.
  At 13.0 feet, Water affects residences along the west bank of the
  river in Lehigh and threatens industries near Phinney Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to slowly fall, but remain
    above minor flood stage through early next week.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding is occurring and is forecast with the stage right
  at the change from major to moderate category.

* WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt, or from Joe
  Reasoner Dam to the East Fork Des Moines River.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flooding affects streets from S 13th Ave
  southward.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to continue to slowly fall
    through next week, but remain above flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg, or from near
  Graettinger to Cylinder Creek near West Bend.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Closure of Iowa 4 is likely. Water
  threatens some of the airport runways. Water flows into Boggess
  gravel pits.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to continue to slowly fall
    but remain in moderate flood stage through Saturday.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville, or from the
  Iowa-Minnesota border to near Wallingford.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Backwater from the river causes School
  Creek to flood Valley Dr. Burr Oak Rd...and some other secondary
  roads in rural Emmet County may be closed.
  At 14.5 feet, Water affects residences along W 1st St north and
  south of Iowa 9...and along Valley Dr.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to stay around 14.5 feet
    through early Friday before continuing its slow fall. It will
    remain in moderate flood stage through at least early next
    week.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
