...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg affecting Palo Alto and
  Pocahontas Counties.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville affecting Emmet County.

  East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Humboldt and
  Kossuth Counties.

.At least minor flooding will persist along the West Fork Des Moines
river and the Des Moines river near Fort Dodge through much of the
week. Minor flooding is expected to end at the East Fork Des Moines
River near Algona toward daybreak Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

  - At 4:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tonight and continue falling and remain below flood
    stage.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water affects campgrounds in the
  downstream parks between Fort Dodge and Lehigh.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is near crest now, and then gradually
    fall later this morning and through the week staying in minor
    flood stage through around Thursday.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.
