...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, in east central Minnesota, Aitkin and Crow
  Wing Counties. In north central Minnesota, Cass County.

* WHEN...Until 230 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1248 AM CDT Friday, trained weather spotters reported
    heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 2
    and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Northbound lane has water over the road on State Highway 25
    north of the County 2 intersection.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Brainerd, Mille Lacs Lake, Baxter, Crosby, Breezy Point,
    Aitkin, Pequot Lakes, Crosslake, Nisswa, Ironton, Deerwood,
    Pillager, McGregor, Malmo, Cuyuna, Garrison, Poplar, McGrath,
    Cuyuna Country State Park and Upper South Long Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
