...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KEARNY...FINNEY...
SCOTT...WESTERN LANE AND NORTHERN GRAY COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM
CDT...

At 934 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 17 miles south of Leoti to near Charleston.
Movement was northeast at 30 mph. Another strong thunderstorm was
located 7 miled east of Scott City, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Friend around 950 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Shallow Water,
Modoc and Scott City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
