...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN KIOWA...WESTERN
COMANCHE AND CLARK COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM CDT...

At 1054 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Clark State Lake to 11 miles northeast of
Buffalo. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Protection around 1105 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Buttermilk,
Coldwater and Lake Coldwater.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
south central and southwestern Kansas.
