...SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT...

For the following areas...
Waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach SC out 20 NM...

At 942 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line from over Bull Breakers to 7 NM west of
Charleston Sixty, moving southeast at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots.

SOURCE...Public reported. At 925 AM, the public reported a
         possible waterspout just offshore of Isle of Palms.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
  Capers Reef, Joe Shuford Reef, Rattlesnake Shoal, Charleston
  Sixty, Charleston Nearshore Reef, Air Force Reef, Charleston
  Coastal Anglers, Bull Breakers, Capers Island Buoy, Jimmy Leland
  Tug and Lowcountry Anglers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
