...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 20 NM, including
Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary...
Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA from 20 to 60 NM...

* At 709 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms,
  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These strong
  thunderstorms were located along a line from 8 NM west of Sapelo
  Channelbuoy 3 to 20 NM south of Altamaha Sound, moving northeast
  at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
  Steel Barge Modena, K T K Buoy, Sapelo Buoy S, Buoy B H, Sapelo
  Channelbuoy 3, Grays Reef Buoy, Buoy B L, D R H Buoy, C A T Buoy,
  John Bird, Tug Rio Apon, St Catherines Buoy 3, Tug Rio Caroni,
  Honey Barge and Doboy Sound Buoy D.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
