...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LOGAN COUNTY
THROUGH 215 PM MDT...

At 128 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms in western Logan County, or 11 miles north of
Sterling, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
North Sterling Reservoir, Logan Corners, Iliff, and Peetz.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
northeastern Colorado.
