Scattered thunderstorms and showers are expected for the rest
today and Sunday across much of the region. Some localized heavy
rainfall is possible from some of these storms. High temperatures
this weekend will range in the in the 70s to lower 80s. Overnight
lows will range mainly in the 50s.

A warming and drying trend is expected for next week, as an upper
level ridge develops across the western United States into the
Northern Rockies warming temperatures as the ridge moves
eastward.
