Today, scattered light showers and the isolated thunderstorms
will be possible over portions of northern and eastern South
Dakota and northern Minnesota. Otherwise, mainly dry conditions
are anticipated across the region. Highs are forecast from the
lower 70s in northern Minnesota and southwestern Ontario, to the
lower 90s in southwestern South Dakota.

Temperatures across much of the region will remain cooler through
the middle of the week, with closer to average temperatures south
and below average readings north. A warming trend is then
expected for the latter half of the week, especially in western
parts of the region, as a ridge amplifies in the western US.
Mainly dry conditions are expected through early Thursday, when
chances for showers and thunderstorms are forecast to return to
the region.
