At 756 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the showers and thunderstorms that produced heavy rain across the warned area have weakened and were moving east of the warned area. Between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen based on rain gauge and radar estimates. Additional rainfall amounts up to one half inch are still possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Deposit, Sanford, Windsor, Harpursville, Stilesville, Oquaga Creek State Park, Hale Eddy, East Windsor, Cannonsville and Rock Rift.
