...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...

  Kickapoo River at Ontario affecting Monroe and Vernon Counties.

  Kickapoo River at La Farge affecting Richland and Vernon Counties.

  Kickapoo River at Viola affecting Richland and Vernon Counties.

.The entire headwater region of the Kickapoo River basin received 3
to 4 inches of rainfall overnight, in addition to 0.5 to 1 inches of
rain that fell yesterday evening. The Kickapoo River at Ontario has
risen 10 feet and appears to be cresting soon. This water will flow
downstream and impact the rest of the Kickapoo River over the next
24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Kickapoo River at Ontario.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Flooding occurs along the river in the
  Ontario area. Water may be over Highway P near Bridge 10, and also
  over Winchell Valley Road at Bridge 8.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Sunday was 18.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.9
    feet late this morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    late this afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    18.9 feet on 03/14/2007.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO TOMORROW
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Kickapoo River at La Farge.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Some roads are under water and several
  residences and businesses are affected. However the majority of
  the people in town are still dry.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 6.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon to a crest of 12.8 feet this evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage late tonight.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    12.8 feet on 08/19/2007.

WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Kickapoo River at Viola.

* WHEN...From this evening to early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water begins going over Highway 131/56 in
  Viola.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 8.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 16.0 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.1 feet on 04/12/2001.
