This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut and
Dutchess and eastern Ulster Counties in eastern New York.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Heat index values may reach dangerous levels on Tuesday and Heat
Advisories may be needed for some areas.

A Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms or Level 1 of 5 has been
issued by the Storms Prediction Center for northwest Connecticut on
Tuesday. Damaging winds would be the main threat.

Shower and thunderstorm potential increases Wednesday through
Thursday as a result of an anticipated frontal system. The main
impact from any showers and thunderstorms that develop will be
moderate to locally heavy rainfall that could lead to ponding of
water in urban and poor drainage areas. Isolated to scattered
instances of flash flooding may occur.

In addition, a Marginal risk for severe thunderstorms has been issue
by the Storms Prediction Center on Wednesday for the mid Hudson
Valley and southern Taconics. Isolated damaging wind gusts or an
isolated tornado would be the main threats.

New York and southern Vermont.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Advisories may be needed for the Capital District, Upper Hudson and
eastern Mohawk Valleys.

A Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms or Level 1 of 5 has been
issued by the Storms Prediction Center for southern Vermont and
western Massachusetts on Tuesday. Damaging winds would be the main
threat.

Shower and thunderstorm potential increases Wednesday through
