While mainly dry weather will continue, isolated late evening and
overnight showers and thunderstorms will be possible through the
weekend. Central South Dakota will be the area of concern for the
isolated showers and thunderstorm activity late tonight into early
Friday morning.

Increasing winds out of the south will help usher in much warmer and
more muggy air. High temperatures today will mainly top out in the
80s, with low 90s across central South Dakota. Lows will be in the
mid 60s Friday morning. Expect highs mainly in the 90s Friday through
Sunday. At these temperatures, the increasing dewpoints will create
heat index values near 100 degrees for some locations Friday through
Sunday.
