While we will have another afternoon of showers and thunderstorms, severe weather is not expected. The main concern with any thunderstorm activity will be lightning. The chance of precipitation is near 40 percent. Relative humidity values will be in the 40 percent range over central South Dakota, while in the 50 percent range elsewhere. Winds this afternoon will be out of the west to northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Dry weather will return this evening, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms only over eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon.
