...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL COLFAX COUNTY
THROUGH 1245 PM MDT...

At 1207 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles northeast of Ute Park, or 32 miles east of Questa, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cimarron and Philmont Scout Ranch.

This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 306 and 313.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
