...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL RIO ARRIBA COUNTY
THROUGH 345 PM MDT...

At 312 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Youngsville, or 20 miles east of Cuba, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Rio
Arriba County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
