...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL MORA COUNTY
THROUGH 230 PM MDT...

At 158 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ocate, or 14 miles northeast of Mora. This storm was nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ocate, Coyote Creek State Park, Ojo Feliz, Guadalupita, El Turquillo,
Luceros, and Rainsville.

This includes State Road 434 between Mile Markers 9 and 18.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy rains will cause water to pond on roads and in low spots. Fast
running water will quickly fill arroyos and ditches.
