...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL AND
SOUTH CENTRAL HARDING COUNTIES THROUGH 145 AM MDT...

At 112 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles east of Conchas Dam, or 19 miles south of Mosquero, moving
southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central San
Miguel and south central Harding Counties.

This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 89 and 94.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor your preferred
media outlets and NOAA Weather Radio for additional information and
possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Accumulations of small hail on roads can create very slick and
hazardous driving conditions.
