.DISCUSSION...
Wet and cool conditions continue through the weekend. A brief
lull in rainfall this morning before a front brings more rain to
the West Coast this afternoon and evening. This front will bring
less rain than the previous with most areas receiving about half
an inch over the weekend, with some parts of the Nulato Hills and
western Brooks Range seeing more and the northern Seward Peninsula
seeing less. This front will also pull cooler air behind it
dropping temperatures slightly over the weekend. High temperatures
fall into the mid 40s to mid 50s range Saturday. Minimum RHs stay
well above critical thresholds. No thunderstorms anticipated.
Winds continue out of the southwest ahead of the front turning
northwest behind the front on Saturday.
