.DISCUSSION...Historic heat wave will persist across the Desert
Southwest through the week with numerous daily and all-time records
at jeopardy. Afternoon RH values are forecast to be in the single
digits or low teens during this time while wind gusts peak between
15-25 mph. This weekend, monsoonal moisture is expected to move up
the Colorado River Valley, which will allow temperatures to
gradually moderate as precipitation chances increase across
northwestern Arizona.
