...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 PM MDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN BUTTE AND SOUTHWESTERN MEADE COUNTIES...
At 107 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast of
Tilford, or 9 miles east of Sturgis, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported 1 inch hail at Tilford.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Butte and southwestern Meade Counties.
This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 39
and 41.
