...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
  continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Southeast Arizona, including the following
  counties, Cochise and Santa Cruz.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry washes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 513 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Sonoita Creek, Harshaw Creek, Slaughter House Wash, Santa
    Cruz River, Babocomari River, Cienega Creek and Turkey Creek.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Whetstone, Patagonia, Sonoita, Elgin, Parker Canyon Lake,
    Fort Huachuca, Patagonia Lake State Park, Canelo and Lochiel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
