796 WGUS85 KTWC 280013 FLSTWC Flood Advisory National Weather Service Tucson AZ 513 PM MST Thu Jun 27 2024 AZC003-023-280200- /O.EXT.KTWC.FA.Y.0011.000000T0000Z-240628T0200Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Cochise AZ-Santa Cruz AZ- 513 PM MST Thu Jun 27 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of Southeast Arizona, including the following counties, Cochise and Santa Cruz. * WHEN...Until 700 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 513 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Sonoita Creek, Harshaw Creek, Slaughter House Wash, Santa Cruz River, Babocomari River, Cienega Creek and Turkey Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Whetstone, Patagonia, Sonoita, Elgin, Parker Canyon Lake, Fort Huachuca, Patagonia Lake State Park, Canelo and Lochiel. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
