...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM CDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Heat index values between 105 and 109 expected.

* WHERE...In Arkansas, Crawford, Franklin, and Sebastian Counties.
  In Oklahoma, Muskogee, Okfuskee, Sequoyah, Okmulgee, Choctaw,
  Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, McIntosh, Pittsburg, and Pushmataha
  Counties.

* WHEN...From noon today to 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses are possible especially impacting
  those not acclimated to the conditions or those performing
  strenuous activities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
