...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN FRANKLIN...DOUGLAS AND
NORTHEASTERN OSAGE COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM CDT...

At 812 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles east of Carbondale to 3 miles south of
Globe to 6 miles northwest of Princeton. Movement was northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Lawrence, Ottawa, Baldwin City, Eudora, Wellsville, Overbrook,
Centropolis, Pomona, Clinton, Lone Star, Pleasant Grove, Vinland,
Clinton Lake, and Globe.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 175 and 198.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 202 and 205.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
east central Kansas.
