...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...

  Marais Des Cygnes River above Reading affecting Lyon and Osage
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Marais Des Cygnes River above Reading.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river flood.
  At 21.0 feet, County Road Y 5 near the gage floods, 3 miles north
  of Reading.
  At 23.0 feet, Overlow on the right bank is in several swift
  channels over Road Y 5, 3 miles north of Reading.
  At 25.7 feet, Water overtops the bridge deck.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 25.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tonight and continue falling to 2.4 feet early Saturday
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
