...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN BLAINE COUNTY THROUGH
215 PM MDT...

At 120 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 14 miles north of Chinook, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. These storms have been fairly slow-moving, so
         persistent rainfall may cause minor flooding of paved and
         low-lying areas.

Locations impacted include...
Harlem, Fort Belknap, and Zurich.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persistent heavy rainfall may lead to localized flooding. Do not
drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
