...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Florida, including the following
  county, Lee.

* WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 219 PM EDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor
    drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory
    area. Between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fort Myers, Buckingham, East Dunbar, Olga, Palmona Park,
    Lochmoor Waterway Estates, Pine Manor, Villas, McGregor,
    Tice, Fort Myers Shores, North Fort Myers, Suncoast Estates,
    Gateway, Page Field Airport, Page Park and Whiskey Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
