including the following area, Jefferson.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of Big Bend Florida, including the following
  county, Madison and south central Georgia, including the following
  counties, Brooks, Colquitt, Lowndes and Thomas.

* WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 605 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Quitman, Pavo, Coolidge, Barwick, Dixie, Brooks Co A/p,
    Pidcock, Oaklawn, Empress, Hollis, Lovett, Patten, Nankin,
    Thomasville Municipal A/P, Enon, Dillon, Merrillville, Cherry
    Lake, Murphy and Pinetta.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
